The InterPro1 ontology contains data on protein domains, families, and functional sites. InterPro annotations give information about the function, structure, and evolution of the domains. It combines several other databases (PROSITE, PRINTS, Pfam, ProDom, SMART, TIGRFAMs, PIRSF, SUPERFAMILY, PANTHER and Gene3D).
The human hg19 ontology contains 7,717 annotations, 16,346 genes, and 59,030 associations.
The human hg18 ontology contains 7,710 annotations, 16,257 genes, and 58,704 associations.
The mouse mm9 ontology contains 7,572 annotations, 16,835 genes, and 59,664 associations.
The zebrafish danRer7 ontology contains 6,667 terms, 12,746 genes and 43,994 associations.
All data for human and mouse was downloaded on August 20, 2010 (InterPro release 28.0).
The zebrafish data was downloaded Jan 3, 2011 from ZFIN.
