The MSigDB Pathway1 ontology contains gene sets from pathway databases. Usually, these gene sets are canonical representations of a biological process compiled by domain experts.


The human ontology contains 706 gene sets, 6,473 genes, and 25,280 associations.

The mouse ontology contains 456 gene sets, 3,479 genes, and 10,778 associations.


All data for this ontology was downloaded on March 11, 2009 (MSigDB version 2.5).
