Challenge Bejerano Lab
Postdoctoral Openings (at http://bejerano.stanford.edu)

We are soliciting applications for two postdoc openings:

Experimental. We seek Ph.D. holders in Genetics, Developmental Biology or closely related fields with a proven track record, who will thrive working on our projects, and appreciate the power of in house comparative and functional  genomics peers of the highest caliber. Our growing wet lab is firmly supported by neighboring labs at the wonderful Developmental Biology department, and our computational abilities will help launch your own lab on a unique and extremely potent path.

Computational. If you are an accomplished bioinformatician, preferably  a computational or comparative genomics Ph.D., we offer some of the most exciting opportunities for genomic discovery in a cutting-edge data analysis and tool development environment. As a member lab in Stanford's AI Lab, we interact with some of the world's best computer scientists in the context of solving fascinating biological challenges.

Others. Postdoc and visiting scientist applications from researchers interested in transitioning into Genomics from unrelated fields will be considered on condition that the applicant can help provide their funding.

When contacting Gill please provide your CV and a list of references.
You are also welcome to attach your course transcript (unofficial is fine), as well as an outline of what research you would like to pursue in our lab.
